  • Flight News

Jetstar will be able to commence daily flights between Perth and Denpasar after being granted extra capacity by the International Air Services Commission. The extra 360 seats per week will allow the carrier to move from 4 per week to daily, with flights to be operated using a one class A320 with 177 seats.
As a result Jetstar said it will reduce its Perth Jakarta Singapore services from three per week to two.

AIR ASIA has announced a second daily frequency for its Bali-Perth service, even as the low-cost carrier prepares the route's inaugural flight on July 17.
The second frequency will start on August 19.
Perth is the first Australian destination for Indonesia AirAsia and the fourth international route out of Bali after Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore.
AirAsia Group regional head of commercial Kathleen Tan said: "Bali is a highly popular and desired destination amongst Australians. Our loads for the forthcoming three months are running high past 90 per cent and we feel it is timely to add a second frequency."
  • Book early to avoid disappointment

This year we have once again experienced an increase in demand for rooms especially our family room types meaning that they are quite often full up to four or five months prior to arrival. Guests have been so impressed with the new upgraded facilities in these rooms that they are wanting to secure bookings for the following year and therefore we have now loaded all our rates through until the 31st March 2011. • Tour of the Month

This month we look at Bali Tree Top Adventure Park near Bedugal.
65 Treetop challenges await the adventure seeker providing a truly memorable experience and amazing panoramic views. Challenges include a series of Ariel activities such as Flying Foxes, Rope Bridges and climbing challenges.
Each trail offers graded difficulty levels so as you progress from tree to tree the challenges increase and you progress at your own pace.
Trails are for Adults and Children from ages 4 and up.
The varying heights of the challenges on each trail range from 2 to 20 meters and you can experience the trail alone or as a group, or with friends or family. Throughout the entire trail you remain attached to a life-line support.
Although the park uses natural resources for its challenges the park is quite environmentally friendly featuring protective half logs to prevent cables from cutting into trees and minimize tree trunk degradation and all trail platforms are held in place using an innovative compression system to protect trees from any damage.
The park offers specially trained Patrol Guides to explain how the complete circuit works, complete safety instructions and how to use the equipment.
For bookings contact our Guest Activities Center at the hotel Lobby.

I just wanted to comment on the lovely babysitters who helped care for our grandchildren. Ketut, Minnie and two others whose names we cannot recall. This is a wonderful service for those with babies and small children.
